Shortcuts to Riding Like A Pro
For quite a few years, the biggest selling motorcycles have been touring bikes or baggers with all the bells and whistles. The people who purchase these heavyweights tend to be in the 50 to 65 years old range.
Whether you buy a Harley Ultra or an Indian, Goldwing or Victory, these motorcycles are heavy. They range in weight from 925 lbs. to a little over 1,000 lbs. Add your weight to that plus a passenger and some essentials you might carry, you’re up around 1,300 to 1,400 lbs.
You will certainly feel that weight if you attempt to back up that behemoth or when moving it around the garage. There’s not much you can do about those two situations.
However, once you’re out of the garage, all that weight should not be a chore to maneuver through traffic, turning around or working your way through a sea of similar motorcycles at your local bike night.
In all the above situations, you simply cannot muscle that 1,400 lbs. around, no matter your strength. I’ve seen lots of riders try that and it almost always turns out the same way. The bike tips over, the rider and passenger wind up on the ground and you sprained your back when you were trying to keep it from tipping over.
The good news is, there’s a much better and easier way. All you need is a little technique. You need to know how to use the clutch and throttle to handle your bike at low speeds. It’s just a matter of slipping the clutch a bit, also known as using the friction zone. The next technique that helps greatly at low speeds is to drag the rear brake. In other words, a little light pressure on the rear brake while at the same time you’re putting power to the rear wheel with the clutch and throttle allows you to creep along at extremely low speeds while maintaining complete control.
Combine those two techniques with looking ONLY where you want to go and it’s as if you just took 400 lbs. off your bike. Using these techniques takes virtually no strength at all. In fact, tiny women can do it. Even better, it will only take you about an hour to get the hang of it.
I’ve even got a video for you that will show you exactly how to learn these techniques without setting up any cones by simply using the parking lot spaces found in every parking lot as a guide.
My video is called, “Shortcuts to Riding Like A Pro” and for the next few weeks, I’ll send it to your door for only fifteen dollars. The Shortcuts DVD will show you exactly how to handle your 900-lb. bike with skill and confidence and only taking up an hour of your time.
C’mon, you spent 25K on your bike, why not learn how to ride it? Fifteen dollars will teach you how to get the most out of your bike in the shortest amount of time. This offer is ONLY good by calling our toll free, 866-868-7433. Offer ends on June 30th, 2017 and applies for domestic orders only within the USA.
